Daniel Gouldman is the current CEO of Ternio, I wonder when the switch took place?! Daniel's a very friendly guy who offered a bit of feedback in response to the Blockcard bits here.

In any case, you're definitely right and I definitely wasn't stoked to find out my spending power was reduced and unstable.

However, if you'll notice the discussion above of the StellarTerm exchange, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find that you can import XLM from any major exchange and purchase TERN with limit orders. I'm averaging around $.006 or so buying in, and around $.0075 or thereabouts in selling (making purchases with my Blockcard).

Frankly, it's a bit of a pain in the butt, but this is what I always wanted from cryptocurrency. The Blockcard gives me the freedom to manage my liquidity so as to maximize it. By itself, it isn't a complete solution, but it's early and that's to be expected IMO. BitPay will probably draw more users but I don't think I'll be one of them for awhile longer.
