I’m Now Accepting BAT Tips. So Should You.
If you’re not already using the Brave browser, you certainly ought to start!
Brave allows users to generate income in the form of cryptocurrency. You browse with the Ads setting turned on, and choose the number of ads per hour you’d like to see.
You can set the number at 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 — but in order to earn the most BAT for your browsing activity, I would recommend putting it all the way up to 5.
Next, you can turn off the automatic tipping feature, giving yourself complete control over where your BAT goes. You can keep it, transfer it out through a service like Coinbase (sign up here if you are interested), and put it into your own bank account if you like. Or, you could move it to a service like Blockcard (available here, but beware the $10 fee!) which enables you to spend your cryptocurrency ANYWHERE THEY TAKE VISA! Which is absolutely amazing.
Most of us won’t use those options, however, and will instead opt to tip certain people we happen to like on the internet. You’re able to set up a recurring tip, even, to help support your favorite content creators!
In the future, I would speculate that the value of BAT seems very likely to increase, so you can purchase and hold it if you like. Advertisers will probably grow to covet BAT eventually, if the advertising tools Brave makes available turn out to be successful.
If you’ve downloaded Brave, and have tips enabled, I would be flattered if you would click the triangle at the top of the screen and choose an amount of BAT, then click the TIP button! How amazing the internet has become.
