Second Generation PageDAO NFTBook Minter Reaches Testnet!
Hey everyone, sorry for the hiatus — I have a lot going on and sometimes don’t get around to making the notes as often as I want to. The good news? A new NFTBook Minter from PageDAO has launched in testnet! We spent the whole show diving in. Find the PageDAO Show Episode 20 here.

The show started with a Q&A with Robert Pollock and then myself fielding a few questions from the PageDAO Members who attended the live recording session in our Discord.
Here are some of the high points:
- Last year, we launched the minter at https://mint.nftbookbazaar.com — we’ve been listening to your feedback ever since!
- All of the books used to be minted to the same contract, which poses a few problems for users. We’re solving this issue by joining the trend and helping users take control of their own contracts.
- PageDAO is an unfunded development operation still, so it’s still tough to get things done sometimes. Fortunately, we’re not in it alone — Mintplex, Manifold, and other contract providers will be available in this generation. Mintplex, in particular, has done excellent work giving creators control over the contract, and is the first out of the box contract supported by the next generation NFTBook Minter.
- Bonfire is an easy no-code website creator with Web3 enabled that can be used to import a contract and allow minting, gate additional content, and build beautiful websites.
- Darkblock is also recently in PageDAO’s orbit — using Arweave, Darkblock gates arbitrary content to particular NFTs, so look for audiobook functionality and more coming to owners of PageDAO-minted NFTs!
- Thirdweb has an answer to OpenSea’s recent removal of creator royalties from their platform. We’re able to use Thirdweb technology to spin up new marketplaces and storefronts for NFTs.
- 50k $PAGE tokens are up for grabs! Participate in the incentivized testnet to become eligible for this airdrop.
